Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the nanodorama platform, available at nanodorama.com and nanodorama.com.br, and their subdomains (the "Service"). The Service is operated by AIz Serviços de Inteligência Artificial Ltda., registered under Brazilian company number (CNPJ) 66.955.511/0001-75, with offices at Av. Marechal Floriano, 399 – Rio de Janeiro/RJ, Brazil ("nanodorama", "we", "us").

By accessing or using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Governing version. These Terms were drafted in Portuguese under Brazilian law. This English text is provided for convenience; in case of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.

1. Eligibility and content

1.1. The Service is intended for users aged 16 or over. By using the Service you represent that you are at least 16 years old.

1.2. The catalogue consists of serialised works of fiction (romance, drama, revenge, fantasy, among other genres). The Service does not offer adult or pornographic content.

1.3. You are responsible for ensuring that use of the Service is permitted by the laws applicable where you access it.

2. Description of the Service

2.1. nanodorama is a vertical microdrama streaming platform — series in which each episode runs about one minute. The Service lets you watch episodes with subtitles in eighteen languages (Portuguese, English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Polish, Turkish, Indonesian, Filipino, Vietnamese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Hindi and Arabic), track your progress in each series, and unlock episodes with coins or with the VIP subscription.

2.2. Access without signing up. You can watch the free episodes without creating an account; in that case, your progress is kept in the browser of the device you watch on. An account becomes necessary to buy coins, unlock episodes, subscribe to VIP and sync your history across devices.

2.3. Features, catalogue, prices and limits may change, be added or be discontinued at any time, on reasonable notice within the Service.

3. Account and security

3.1. An account may be created with a sign-in link sent to your email (no password) or with Google sign-in, both through Firebase Authentication.

3.2. You are responsible for keeping access to your email and your Google account confidential, and for all activity carried out under your account in the Service. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

3.3. Registration information must be true, accurate and current.

4. Catalogue content and intellectual property

4.1. The catalogue is not user content. The series, episodes, subtitles, artwork and other materials shown in the Service are works licensed from their rightsholders or produced by us, and are protected by copyright.

4.2. What you receive is a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to stream the content through the official interfaces of the Service, for non-commercial purposes.

4.3. The following are expressly prohibited: downloading, copying, recording, redistributing, retransmitting, publicly performing, reselling or creating derivative works from catalogue content; circumventing or attempting to circumvent the technical protection measures (including the short-lived signed URLs used to deliver video); and using bots, scrapers or automation to extract content.

4.4. Brand and platform. The nanodorama name, logo, software, design and interfaces belong to us or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you.

5. Coins and VIP subscription

5.1. The Service uses virtual coins to unlock episodes beyond the free ones in each series. Coins are a limited licence to access features: they are not legal tender, hold no monetary value outside the Service, are not transferable, and cannot be cashed out, exchanged for money or refunded once spent, except where the law requires it.

5.2. How coins are obtained. Coins are bought in packs, and some packs include bonus coins on top of the purchased ones. When you unlock an episode, bonus balance is spent before purchased balance. Purchased coins do not expire.

5.3. Unlocks are permanent. An episode unlocked with coins stays available on your account, including if you cancel VIP.

5.4. VIP. A VIP subscription opens the catalogue while it is active. It is offered in monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly cycles; it is billed on a recurring basis, at the start of each cycle, and renews automatically at the end of it until you cancel. Cancellation can be requested at any time through the support channel listed on the Contact page; it stops future renewals, and access continues until the end of the cycle already paid for. VIP does not replace unlocks already made with coins, which remain valid.

5.5. We may adjust prices, amounts and the rules for obtaining and spending coins, on reasonable prior notice within the Service.

6. Payments and refunds

6.1. Processing. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details; Stripe handles them under its own policies.

6.2. Prices by country of access. Coin and VIP subscription prices are set per country. The Service identifies, through geolocation, the country you are accessing from and always shows that country's price table — there is no option to choose another country's table. Each table is set independently, in the local currency: we do not promise price equivalence between countries or currency conversion.

6.3. Country of the payment method. If the card or other payment method used in a purchase belongs to a country other than the country of access, the prices of the payment method's country apply. If the amount paid was lower than that table's price, the difference will need to be paid; if it was higher, contact the support channel listed on the Contact page to have the difference returned.

6.4. Renewal in the country of purchase. A VIP subscription renews in the country, currency and at the price at which it was taken out, even if you start accessing the Service from another country.

6.5. Right of withdrawal (article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Code). As this is a distance contract, you may withdraw from a purchase within 7 (seven) days of the purchase. Withdrawal covers coins not yet spent and subscription periods not yet enjoyed.

6.6. Spent coins are not refundable. An episode unlocked with coins is delivered on the spot and stays unlocked on your account (clause 5.3). For that reason, the portion of coins already spent is not refunded in money, without prejudice to the guarantees the law grants consumers.

6.7. How to request a refund. Every refund — including withdrawal under clause 6.5 — is requested through the support channel listed on the Contact page. There is no refund button and no automatic cancellation in the Service: each request is reviewed and answered by our team.

6.8. Effect of a refund on your coin balance. When the amount of a coin purchase is returned — through withdrawal, refund or chargeback — the coins from that purchase that are still in your wallet are removed from the balance, bonus coins first and purchased coins after, and the removal stops at zero: the balance never goes negative. Coins already spent are not removed or charged back, and episodes already unlocked stay unlocked.

6.9. Prices may include taxes applicable under the laws of each country.

7. Third-party services

7.1. The Service depends on third parties, including: Google / Google Cloud (authentication and delivery of the email sign-in link, hosting, database, video storage and delivery) and Stripe (payment processing and receipts).

7.2. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, outages or policies of those third parties.

8. Availability and disclaimers

8.1. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor that any given title will remain in the catalogue — content licences have terms and may not be renewed.

8.2. Titles leaving the catalogue. If a series you unlocked with coins is due to leave the catalogue, we will publish a notice on the site itself, reasonably in advance. The notice is given that way — published within the Service — not as an individual message.

8.3. Nothing in this clause limits the guarantees and rights granted to consumers by the Brazilian Consumer Code (Law 8.078/1990).

9. Limitation of liability

9.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits or loss of data arising from use of the Service.

9.2. This limitation does not apply where limiting or excluding liability is prohibited by the Brazilian Consumer Code or by public policy rules.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold nanodorama harmless from claims, losses and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or from misuse of the Service, subject to the limits of consumer protection law.

11. Suspension and termination

11.1. We may suspend or terminate your access, in whole or in part, if you breach these Terms or the law, or to protect the security of the Service and of third parties — in particular in the cases described in clause 4.3.

11.2. You may close your account at any time. Closure does not create a right to a refund of coins already spent. Certain data may be retained under the Privacy Policy and legal obligations.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by other reasonable means, with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after they take effect means you accept the updated version.

13. Communications

You agree to receive communications relating to the Service (operational, security and legal) by email or by notices within the Service — for example, the sign-in link and payment receipts. Marketing communications, if they come to exist, will require your consent and can be declined at any time.

14. Governing law and forum

14.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

14.2. The forum of the consumer's domicile is elected to settle disputes arising from these Terms, without prejudice to other guarantees under the Brazilian Consumer Code.

15. General

15.1. If any clause is held invalid, the remainder stays in force.

15.2. Tolerating a breach of any clause does not waive it.

15.3. In case of discrepancy between language versions of this document, the Portuguese version prevails.
