Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the nanodorama platform, available at nanodorama.com and nanodorama.com.br, and their subdomains (the "Service"). The Service is operated by AIz Serviços de Inteligência Artificial Ltda., registered under Brazilian company number (CNPJ) 66.955.511/0001-75, with offices at Av. Marechal Floriano, 399 – Rio de Janeiro/RJ, Brazil ("nanodorama", "we", "us").

By accessing or using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Governing version. These Terms were drafted in Portuguese under Brazilian law. This English text is provided for convenience; in case of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.

1. Eligibility and content rating

1.1. The Service is intended for users aged 16 or over. By using the Service you represent that you are at least 16 years old.

1.2. The catalogue consists of serialised works of fiction (romance, drama, revenge, fantasy). Each series displays its content rating before playback. The Service does not offer adult or pornographic content.

1.3. You are responsible for ensuring that use of the Service is permitted by the laws applicable where you access it.

2. Description of the Service

2.1. nanodorama is a vertical microdrama streaming platform — series in which each episode runs about one minute. The Service lets you watch episodes with subtitles in Portuguese, English, Korean and Simplified Chinese, track your progress in each series, build lists, like and comment.

2.2. Access without signing up. You can watch the free episodes and have your progress saved without creating an account. An account becomes necessary to buy coins, subscribe to VIP, post comments and sync your history across devices.

2.3. Features, catalogue, prices and limits may change, be added or be discontinued at any time, on reasonable notice within the Service.

3. Account and security

3.1. An account may be created by email or with Google sign-in (Firebase Authentication). An anonymous session started before sign-up is upgraded to your account at login, preserving your progress and lists.

3.2. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

3.3. Registration information must be true, accurate and current.

4. Catalogue content and intellectual property

4.1. The catalogue is not user content. The series, episodes, subtitles, artwork and other materials shown in the Service are works licensed from their rightsholders or produced by us, and are protected by copyright.

4.2. What you receive is a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to stream the content through the official interfaces of the Service, for non-commercial purposes.

4.3. The following are expressly prohibited: downloading, copying, recording, redistributing, retransmitting, publicly performing, reselling or creating derivative works from catalogue content; circumventing or attempting to circumvent the technical protection measures (including the short-lived signed URLs used to deliver video); and using bots, scrapers or automation to extract content.

4.4. Brand and platform. The nanodorama name, logo, software, design and interfaces belong to us or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you.

5. Content you submit

5.1. The only content you submit to the Service is comments, ratings and your profile picture ("User Content"). You keep whatever rights you hold in it.

5.2. Licence. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, moderate and display User Content as necessary to operate the Service — for example, showing your comment to other viewers on the relevant episode.

5.3. Responsibility. You represent that you hold the necessary rights in the User Content and that it violates neither the law nor third-party rights.

6. Community rules and moderation

6.1. You may not post unlawful content, hate speech, harassment, threats, spam, sexually explicit material, other people's personal data, or deliberately disruptive spoilers outside the provided markers.

6.2. Automated moderation. Comments are screened for toxicity in all four languages of the Service, before or shortly after publication. Flagged cases go to human review. You can report any comment.

6.3. Comments in breach are removed. Depending on severity and repetition, an account may be warned, suspended or closed.

6.4. Under article 20 of the Brazilian data protection law (LGPD), you may request human review of a moderation decision taken solely by automated means, by writing to leo@aizintel.com.

7. Coins and VIP subscription

7.1. The Service uses virtual coins to unlock episodes beyond the free ones in each series. Coins are a limited licence to access features: they are not legal tender, hold no monetary value outside the Service, are not transferable, and cannot be cashed out, exchanged for money or refunded once spent, except where the law requires it.

7.2. Purchased coins do not expire. Coins obtained for free (for example, at the daily check-in) may carry their own validity and accrual limits, always stated in the Service. When you unlock an episode, free balance is spent before purchased balance.

7.3. Unlocks are permanent. An episode unlocked with coins stays available on your account, including if you cancel VIP.

7.4. VIP. A VIP subscription opens the catalogue while it is active. It is billed on a recurring basis and renews automatically at the end of each cycle until you cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the cycle already paid for. VIP does not replace unlocks already made with coins, which remain valid.

7.5. We may adjust prices, amounts and the rules for earning and spending coins, on reasonable prior notice within the Service.

8. Payments and refunds

8.1. Processing. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details; Stripe handles them under its own policies.

8.2. Right of withdrawal (article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Code). As this is a distance contract, you may withdraw within 7 days of purchase. The right applies to coins and subscription cycles not yet used; once coins are spent or the corresponding service enjoyed, the used portion is not refundable, without prejudice to statutory guarantees.

8.3. Prices may include taxes applicable under Brazilian law.

9. Third-party services

9.1. The Service depends on third parties, including: Google / Google Cloud (authentication, hosting, database, storage, video transcoding and delivery, notifications), Stripe (payments) and a transactional email provider.

9.2. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, outages or policies of those third parties.

10. Availability and disclaimers

10.1. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor that any given title will remain in the catalogue — content licences have terms and may not be renewed.

10.2. Titles leaving the catalogue. If a series you unlocked with coins is due to leave the catalogue, we will give reasonable advance notice through the Service.

10.3. Nothing in this clause limits the guarantees and rights granted to consumers by the Brazilian Consumer Code (Law 8.078/1990).

11. Limitation of liability

11.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits or loss of data arising from use of the Service.

11.2. This limitation does not apply where limiting or excluding liability is prohibited by the Brazilian Consumer Code or by public policy rules.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold nanodorama harmless from claims, losses and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, from User Content you submit, or from misuse of the Service, subject to the limits of consumer protection law.

13. Suspension and termination

13.1. We may suspend or terminate your access, in whole or in part, if you breach these Terms or the law, or to protect the security of the Service and of third parties — in particular in the cases described in clause 4.3.

13.2. You may close your account at any time. Closure does not create a right to a refund of coins already spent. Certain data may be retained under the Privacy Policy and legal obligations.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by other reasonable means, with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after they take effect means you accept the updated version.

15. Communications

You agree to receive communications relating to the Service (operational, security and legal) by email or in-app notice. Marketing communications and new-episode notifications require your consent and can be declined at any time.

16. Governing law and forum

16.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

16.2. The forum of the consumer's domicile is elected to settle disputes arising from these Terms, without prejudice to other guarantees under the Brazilian Consumer Code.

17. General

17.1. If any clause is held invalid, the remainder stays in force.

17.2. Tolerating a breach of any clause does not waive it.

17.3. In case of discrepancy between language versions of this document, the Portuguese version prevails.
